These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of theveshticompany.com (the "Website") and any purchase you make on it. The Website is operated by THEVESHTICOMPANY LLP (trade name: The Veshti Company), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its registered office at New No. 16/6, Old No. 22/6, Ashoka Avenue, Kodambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600024, India ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means anyone who visits the Website or buys from us.

By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, you may use the Website only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for any order placed.

2. Products and information

All our products are made in India. We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can, including fabric, measurements and colour. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and textured fabrics can vary a little from piece to piece. Size charts are provided on each product page.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless shown otherwise and include applicable taxes (GST). Shipping charges and any cash-on-delivery fee are shown separately at checkout before you pay, together with the total price. You can pay using the payment methods shown at checkout or by cash on delivery for orders in India. Online payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways; we do not store your card details. Bulk-order discounts are applied automatically at checkout when your order qualifies. Promotional codes are subject to their stated conditions.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, and we will tell you before doing so.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, the delivery address cannot be served, or we suspect fraud or reselling; if we do, we will refund any amount paid in full. We may limit quantities per customer.

5. Shipping and delivery

Orders are dispatched within 48 hours and delivered within 10 days. We ship within India and internationally. Shipping charges, delivery timelines and customs duties for international orders are set out in our Shipping Policy.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You can cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us on WhatsApp at +91 97903 97903 or by email at operations@theveshticompany.com; we do not charge a fee for cancelling before dispatch. Orders delivered in India can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We will not refuse a return or refund for a product that is defective, damaged, deficient, not as described or not delivered within the promised time. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

7. Reviews and content you submit

Reviews must be genuine, based on your own experience and must not be offensive, misleading or infringe anyone's rights. We do not post fake reviews or write reviews on behalf of customers. By submitting a review, photo or other content, you allow us to display and use it on our Website and social media, crediting you where appropriate. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, including our name, logo, designs, prints, photographs and text, belongs to us or is used under licence, and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or use it for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any system or account, interfering with its security or operation, introducing viruses or harmful code, scraping it without permission, sending unsolicited messages, or using it for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene or infringing purpose. We may suspend access for anyone who breaches these Terms and may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

10. Third-party services and links

The Website uses third-party services, such as payment gateways, courier and tracking services, and may link to other websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government action or courier network disruptions.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.

Please include your order number. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours, give you a reference number, and resolve it within one month of receipt.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
